About Marc-Henri Laissus

An atypical journey with a continued passion for learning and development, to broaden one’s skills and to pass them on to the next generation.

A pharmacist, graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Paris XI, Marc-Henri practiced his profession first as an intern at Paris Hospitals, then as a Pharmacist with his own pharmacy.

This experience prompted him to create three companies: first trading pharmaceutical assets and excipients, then in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs, and a third in Consulting and Support.

Various operational positions in the industrial sector allowed him to acquire and develop his skills, during the Merger and Acquisition and subsequent restructuring process within a large agricultural grains group, during the management of a joint venture at international level, and during the various training sessions with Pharmacy graduates.

At the same time, Marc-Henri volunteers in various charitable associations supporting those with disability.
People have always been at the heart of its concerns.

Experience

Marc-Henri brings over 30 years of extensive experience in business management, combined with an entrepreneurial approach, including 15 years in retail pharmacy.

Marc-Henri has held positions in BU and General Management as well as Strategy and Development Director within multiple sectors, including food and agriculture within the LIMAGRAIN Group and pharmaceuticals within the SUNSTAR Group.

In parallel with his professional activities, in 2010, Marc-Henri volunteered as treasurer on the board of directors of “La clef pour l’Autisme”, a charitable association. He has supported the association over the long term, including through the merger with the John Bost Foundation in 2013, and is currently a member of the Finance Committee.

He has always championed and supported change by placing human values at the heart of his service.
In 2016 he achived a longstanding wish to support the next generation of future pharmacists by setting up the Influ’Up initative which he created in assocation with Atomos Conseil.

Over thirty pharmacists have so far benefited from this unique and innovative support framework during their initial year of practise, with a combination of business advice on managing their pharmacy together with relationship coaching.
