Laurent brings a deeply held personal conviction that each one of his clients already has their own keys to success within them and that his role is to guide executives as they define and act upon their professional objectives through a carefully structured personalised approach.

Laurent Zylberstein engages with clients from multi-national groups in addition to medium-to-large sized organisations in France or based overseas.

His specialist areas of interest? Industry, services, retail and luxury brands, accompanying clients across a range of leadership roles including General Management, Business Unit Management, Operational Management, etc.

Fluent in English, Laurent is well versed at putting executives at ease in this language, as well as in his native French, supported by his large and wide-ranging experience gained within diverse international and multicultural situations. Mindful of the vital role played by strong professional networks for any executive seeking to reposition or reorient themselves, he helps executives build their unique “personal brand” that sets them apart and makes the difference in a market which is becoming increasingly competitive.

A sports enthusiast, Laurent Zylberstein is convinced that the sporting mindset can be successfully transposed inside the company with the potential to serve as a source of inspiration and motivation for executives: values such as tolerance, respect, self-confidence, surpassing oneself, and individual agility without forgoing team-spirit. By drawing on those universal values, Laurent successfully co-founded Cap Dirigeant.

Experience

Laurent Zylberstein has held various leadership positions with responsibilities in a range of operational roles (including supply chain and customer service) as well as organisational and strategic consulting roles within international groups, market leaders within their domains.

Various roles at executive committee level enabled him to develop a solid understanding of the value of organisations putting people at the heart of the decision-making process.

Laurent Zylberstein has led several major programmes of transformational change for strategic clients with the common denominator for success being an obsession to client service and continual improvement.

His experience in transversal roles has strengthened his capability in the management of multicultural teams, leading projects, and accompanying the business change programme and internal communications put ion place throughout the process.

Education

Laurent Zylberstein holds a degree from the European Business School and has studied in Paris, London and Frankfurt. He completed the initial stages of his career by becoming an HEC-certified coach under the guidance of this highly regarded faculty of specialist staff. He has also been trained with the use of the MBTI framework.

He regularly facilitates discussion sessions at various groups and associations within the Grandes Écoles around “personal branding”: pitch, network, CV writing habits in English and American.
