About Marianne Rochet
A certified coach, supporting career transition, Marianne Rochet has more than twenty years of experience as an international executive.
Her career, spanning multiple sectors, includes a breadth of experience within large groups as well as mid-sized companies, in high-stakes contexts. A driving force for change, Marianne has successfully created highly-motivated teams committed to the long term, by fostering an environment conducive to creativity and collaboration. Her proven ability and expertise developed within an international context have equipped her with a strong appreciation and understanding of the intercultural dynamics found within large global teams.
As a certified coach, Marianne uses her unique skills to facilitate the professional development and transformation of her clients. With an empathetic approach, combined with a first-hand experience of the challenges faced by managers and executives, she is fully committed to supporting individuals, either those aspiring to a new outlook and perspective during their career, or simply those wishing to fully equip themselves ready to face current challenges.
Experience
Her wide-ranging career began at Moët & Chandon (part of LVMH), before undertaking various European management positions at the Alain Manoukian Group, later acquired by the American group BCBGMAXAZRIA. She developed her career in industry as an international executive and member of the Management Committee at Blanchon-Syntilor, a mid-size chemicals company with a presence in more than thirty countries.
Successive roles have required her to develop and refine her abilities in team coaching and cross-functional management, developing a vision and seizing opportunities, achieving objectives, and deploying change-management where required within the scope of managing corporate restructuring or M&A overseas.
After her latest career-move, she took the important decision to share her expertise with others and provide support to leaders currently in transition or considering their next steps… “Because the most important thing is not what you are, but what you chose to be” (E. Ionesco)
Her international expertise allows her to support expatriate or impatriate executives, understanding the specific challenges posed by a change of country and culture, including the return “back-home”.
Listening with empathy and understanding, and passionate about her profession, Marianne equips her clients with the specific means to support them in better understanding themselves and their underlying motivations, and by helping them articulate their plans, through fully personalized strategic career reviews, assessments, coaching and outplacement.
Multilingual, at ease working in French, English, Spanish, and Italian, Marianne often speaks at learning and training events on themes of strategic management, international management and career management.
In addition, Marianne ROCHET has been appointed as a French Foreign Trade Advisor, appointed by the Prime Minister, in a voluntary capacity within the CCEF Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Committee.
Education
Madame ROCHET holds a bilingual English-Russian university degree, undertook preparatory classes for General Administration at Sciences-Po, and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in International Management from IAE in Lyon. She has certification in Professional Transition Support and Coaching from the International Coaching Institute (ICI Paris, ICF certified school).
