Olivier Pleplé

Each leader is responsible for their destiny: this is one of Olivier Pleulé’s core beliefs. And to achieve their objectives, the manager must draw upon the full extent of resources available.

Of course this includes personal resources (skills, personality, motivations), and also external resources (management, teams, advisors, networks, coach, etc.).

An extensive knowledge of different sectors (manufacturing, retail, banking, services, etc.), different business structures (Large groups, intermdiates and SMEs, start-ups, privately owned or listed companies, or even private-equity), and his experience as a general manager, enable Olivier to be a value-added partner for senior-managers facing new professional challenges.

With an approach based on listening, authenticity and simplicity, Olivier helps leaders best identify the degree of latitude and room for manoeuvre available in the pursuit of their objectives. This is the case for an outplacement where the challenge will be to develop a new initiative, either salaried or with an entrepreneurial approach. This will also be the case in coaching where the challenge is to be better at your job and to gain more satisfaction in what the role undertakes.

Open and eclectic in his interests, Olivier likes to discover others. He supports, in French or English, leaders of all cultures and all countries.

Olivier began his professional life in organizational and strategic consulting. He quickly moved onto a series of hands-on roles for a large international chemicals group, within sales in the United States and then production in France.

Subsequently, for around ten years, he held general management positions within an agro-tech company with turnover of €75M.

Driven to help others develop in their careers, in 2003 he chose to radically change direction and become a coach and professional development consultant.

After creating Atomos Conseil, he merged the organisation with Cap Dirigeant, assuming the role of Associate.

Olivier is a graduate of the Paris-Grignon Agronomic Institute (now AgroParisTech).

He subsequently completed an MBA, at Columbia University, specialising in marketing and finance.

He trained in coaching at the Coaching Academy, and supplemented the range of tools at his disposal by training in MBTI and NLP systems, as well as transactional analysis, and by developing an interest in Gestalt. But, as Oliver often states, one of the best tools is listening!

He regularly speaks at various learned associations, such as those affiliated to many of the French Grandes Écoles, as well as professional organizations and companies on his favourite subjects: corporate politics, how to manage your manager, starting a new job and how to take control of your professional destiny.
